Staff Spotlight: Jonathan Vera

Congratulations to Jonathan Vera, program director at Riis Academy-P.S. 171, who recently graduated from Leading for Impact, a new program from United Neighborhood Houses, which was created to strengthen the management and leadership capabilities of settlement house staff across the city and provide opportunities for sharing resources across communities. Jonathan was nominated by Director of Youth Services Desiree Lewis, and then selected by UNH staff to be a part of the program! Jonathan shared: “Overall, I had a great experience! We learned about different ways to handle problems and motivated one another to continue this road of bringing communities together through the work that we do.”
