On August 13, our Riis Academy youth concluded another successful year of summer camp with a vibrant Culture Day event. Participants from four sites showcased their creativity through colorful and interactive projects representing their chosen countries. They participated in a knowledge bowl, fielding questions from the judges about national plants, animals, foods, and traditions. The youth demonstrated a remarkable knowledge of and enthusiasm for their respective countries. Following the presentations, each group entertained the judges with lively, choreographed dance performances inspired by their country’s culture. The outstanding quality of this year’s presentations and performances made the judges’ task particularly challenging.
