Riis Academy provides high quality after-school and summer programming for youth in grades K-12. We offer comprehensive services across seven sites (Queensbridge House, Ravenswood Houses, PS 76, CS 111, PS 166, PS 171 and Information Technology High School), from tutoring and homework help, to STEM and arts classes, to college and career readiness activities.
Our approach to youth development is based on the simple philosophy that every child can reach their greatest potential if given the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Riis Academy’s network of support encourages and motivates students to stay in school, graduate from high school, and succeed in post-secondary education, work, and civic life.
