We are excited to introduce Riis’s newest board member, Dr. Sam Mejias! Dr. Mejias is currently the Dean of the School of Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons and an associate professor of social justice and community engagement in the School of Design Strategies. He is also the principal investigator for the Wallace Foundation-funded international research project Tracing the Enduring Effects of Community Arts Programs. Dr. Mejias holds a PhD in human rights education from University College London and brings a wealth of expertise to our board.
