Congratulations to our board member Jerry Crisci and his wife, Patti, for celebrating 50 years in business at their restaurant, Armondo’s. Armondo’s is a beloved Italian restaurant on Northern Boulevard in Jackson Heights that holds a special place in the hearts of many residents. At an anniversary celebration on September 11, scores of residents came out to honor Jerry and Patti for their warm hospitality and their countless contributions to the community. Local elected officials were on hand to present them with special proclamations from the New York City Council and the New York State Assembly.
Jerry and Patti graciously donated the profits from their anniversary celebration to Riis Settlement. We are grateful for their generosity, and we wish them many more years of success!
